About Jacinth-Ambrosia

Jacinth-Ambrosia is located 290 kilometres north of Ceduna. It is the world’s largest source of zircon, and a Tier 1 deposit. It is the first mining development in a mixed-use regional reserve
- the Yellabinna Regional Reserve
- in South Australia, with the operation demonstrating a commitment to high environmental standards and progressive land rehabilitation. Jacinth-Ambrosia site has a fully equipped modern camp with facilities including gyms, pools, sports courts, recreation rooms, Wi-Fi and Foxtel.

About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate health and safety professional to join our Health and Safety team.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Superintendent, this role will deliver health and safety service outcomes to a diverse stakeholder group utilising high levels of communication, engagement, field craft and influence across the Jacinth-Ambrosia operation.

Accountabilities will include:
- Work closely with operational leaders, teams and contractors to support proactive management of key health and safety risks-
- Provide support for risk assessments and incident investigations including coaching and facilitating- Conduct in field inspections, audits, control verifications and safety visits.- Manage the development and implementation of Iluka’s proactive healthy lifestyle programs- Support the effective management of work and non-work related injuries for efficient return to work.- Manage the accuracy and integrity of site Health and Safety data in the data management system- Drive continuous improvement by actively seeking new or alternative approaches to health and safety

About You
