Ssr. Node/React Developer (Armenia)

Initial Requirements to Apply: 1️⃣ B2 English level or higher (interview process and daily work are 100% in English). 2️⃣ Must reside in Colombia and have legal permission to work in the country.

3️⃣ 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering, building scalable distributed systems. Required Skills / Experience:
- Semi Senior Node/React Engineer
- 4+ years of experience with Node, React, REST APIs.
- Strong background in architecture and system design for distributed systems.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka or similar streaming platforms).
- Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, DynamoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience with AWS (hands-on preferred) and cloud-native architectures.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops best practices, monitoring and alerting.
- Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).
- Proven ability to work with leadership teams and influence technical decisions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Director in defining and executing the long-term technical strategy for the division.
- Collaborate with business, product, and program leaders to understand use cases, define solutions, and communicate technical trade-offs.
- Design and evolve event-driven and microservices architectures ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, setting high engineering standards.
- Ensure secure coding practices, system resilience, observability, and cost-efficient solutions.
- Mentor and coach engineering teams to build robust, scalable, high-availability systems.

- Direct contract in Colombia (not contractor).
- Salary: Depending on experience. Exp: 4+ years Up to $8'500.000 COP monthly
