Software Engineer, Senior (Barranquilla)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our DevTI team with strong technical ownership and leadership expectations. This role is for an experienced engineer. You will be working on an experienced, diverse, and highly effective team building and operating secure, compliant, and efficient hybrid cloud environments to empower hardware engineers to thrive. In collaboration with service owners, the team defines, discovers, tracks, and acts on development environments for our partner, a Fortune 50 company. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role. While it is not a formal leadership or management position, senior engineers in this role are expected to demonstrate technical leadership, mentorship, and end‑to‑end ownership of systems in production. Responsibilities Technical Ownership and Execution
- Own the design, implementation, and operation of significant DevTI services and components.
- Take responsibility for systems from design through production and ongoing support.
- Make sound technical decisions that balance reliability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Write high‑quality, well‑tested production code. Systems Design & Architecture
- Design and evolve scalable, fault‑tolerant, cloud‑native systems.
- Contribute meaningfully to architecture and design discussions.
- Identify architectural risks and propose pragmatic improvements.
- Help ensure systems are production‑ready, observable, and operable at scale. Reliability & Operations
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance of all systems in production.
