Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an eCommerce Accountant based in the Charleston, South Carolina Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for remote work. The eCommerce Accountant will manage the financial operations associated with the company’s eCommerce platforms and brands. Responsibilities include processing and reconciling online transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, performing financial analysis, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and improving financial processes for optimal efficiency. - Proficiency in eCommerce accounting, financial reconciliations, and bookkeeping
- Landed COGs knowledge
- Accrual Accounting
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
- Strong skills in financial reporting, auditing practices, and tax compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and other financial tools
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and enhance efficiency in financial operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA certification or equivalent qualification is a plus
