Director of SEO (Bogotá)

We are seeking an experienced Director of SEO to lead and scale our SEO function across multiple client accounts. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing SEO performance, managing a cross-functional team, and ensuring high-quality execution across all deliverables. The idóneo candidate is not only technically strong but also a proven leader who can drive strategy, improve team output, and confidently represent SEO in client-facing environments. SEO Strategy & Performance
- Own the end-to-end SEO strategy across all client accounts
- Develop and implement scalable frameworks across:
- Technical SEO
- On-page optimization
- Content strategy
- Authority building / link acquisition
- Ensure all strategies are aligned to business outcomes (traffic, conversions, revenue)
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency

Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and manage a distributed SEO team, including:
- SEO Specialists
- Content Writers
- Link Building resources
- Set clear KPIs and performance expectations across the team
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and development
- Identify hiring needs and support team growth as the function scales

Quality Assurance & Delivery
- Establish and enforce quality standards across all SEO deliverables
- Review outputs to ensure they are client-ready and strategically sound
- Eliminate low-quality or templated work and elevate overall output quality
- Standardize processes and workflows across accounts

Client Engagement
- Participate in key client calls and strategic discussions
- Translate SEO performance into clear business insights
- Partner with Account Managers to support retention and growth
- Act as the senior SEO voice within the organization

Process & Operational Excellence
- Build and refine SOPs for core SEO activities
- Improve reporting frameworks and performance tracking
- Introduce tools, automation, and best practices to enhance delivery
