Logistics Operation Specialist (Cartagena, Colombia)

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Operation Specialist (in Cartagena, Colombia). Position is available immediately. - Create and maintain strong relationships with carriers, custom brokers, internal team members, and clients.
- Negotiation with shippers and carriers
- Shipment tracking
- monitor pickup and delivery
- Collaborating with shippers, receivers, carriers, and custom agent to ensure timely pickups and deliveries (including all the documentation and appointments)
- Tracking status with carriers, shippers, customs brokers and keeping clients/all parties advised of status
- Preparation of required shipping documentation
- Load data entry with all proper info provided by Trader/Customer.
- Booking Trucks.
- Negotiating rates with carriers.
- Ask for POD once the load is delivered.
- Help Accounting, sales and other departments with information and any problem with the loads.

Qualifications:

- College diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, Transportation, international trade or related
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written-spoken). French is an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and be able to work with others along with working independently
- Detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task in completing scheduled activities and to meet scheduled deadlines
- Solutions focused, dynamic, team player, problem solving oriented, and self-starter attitude

Schedule: 8:00am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Availability after hours and weekends to resolve any problem or requirement related with the job.

**Experience**:

- Customer Service: 2 years (preferred)
