Descripción
The Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting a wide variety of Information Technology (IT) distributed services and systems. The Systems Analyst ensures that critical business systems continue to run efficiently by providing routine and emergency maintenance, system monitoring and database administration.
- Ensure that appropriate procedures are defined and executed for Event Management.
- Consult with the Onsite Support, Service Desk and Supply Chain departments regarding user concerns.
- Partner with Onsite Support and Service Managers to ensure networks and security systems are up-to-date.
- Track all requests via the designated Event Management system.
- Record progress and make regular reports to IT Training and Staffing Manager.
- Implement, support, use and communicate existing best practice policies and procedures.
- Work with decision makers, stakeholders and customers to define business requirements, system goals and help resolve customer issues.
- Adhere to standards of confidentiality and security.
- Act as a mentor to junior members of the team and contractors.
- Comply with Quality, Health, Safety and Environment policies and adhere to IT Quality Management System practices.
- Maintain the distributed services and systems support process.
- Monitor and update IT security elements.
- Sustain computer operating systems on various host computers.
- Ensure that critical business systems continue to run efficiently with optimum performance.
- Manage backup, data recovery, user access and security functions.
- Update operating systems and patches to supported release levels for Operations System and database environments.
- Manage all the components of the distributed services as per the defined scopes including hardware, operating system, software and processes.
- Recommend specific hardware and software for different solutions and provide estimated pricing and purchase orders.
- Program scripts to automate simple tasks within established standards.
- Mentor and manage the daily duties of contractors.
- Establish general security network requirements and audit systems to ensure compliance.
- Provide outside of office hours support for critical systems recovery as deemed necessary.
- Follow current defined IT processes for change management, configuration management and incident management.
- Engage in small scale projects from proposal stage to implementation and delivery stage.
- Provide proper documentation on various tasks being carried over, ranging from technical documentations to end user training and hand-over documentation.
- Provide short-term budgetary plans in managed scope.

Essential qualifications
- Bachelor¹s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills

Key competencies
- 1-2 years of experience in customer support with an IT background
- Wiliness to learn and develop skills related to ServiceNow Support
- Advanced, written, and verbal English is a must
- Understanding of IT help desk and service management along with good understanding of the ITIL framework including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, and/or Service Desk
- Ability to adapt quickly to learn new tools, new technologies, and current industry standards
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.

- Ability to work in general distributed setting without supervision
- Self-driven, Proactive, Systems Thinking
- ITIL V3.0 or 4.0 Foundation Certified
- IT Application Support Experience
