**What our Software Test Engineer will be doing**:

- Maintaining knowledge of all ISS product offerings.
- Perform stress/load testing of ISS software on new hardware platforms (e.g. new generation CPUs). Look for bottlenecks and report to R&D.; Tests to be done locally in lab or remotely.
- Create test configurations / environment.
- Become expert in test procedures and continue to optimize test processes.
- Use tools for network diagnostics, operating system performance monitoring, tools for creating ISO images, and system load emulation tools.
- Help update internal systems/documentation that use the test results (ISS server specs document, Server pages, System Design Tool).
- Help perform tests of new ISS software releases/modules as needed. Help reproduce reported bugs.
- Help test ISS internal systems (current and future ones). Systems may include Parter Portal, System Design Tool, Intranet, and more.
- Being proficient in troubleshooting and resolving network, database, and Windows related issues.
- Deploy 3rd party software products in the lab, using installation manuals, for evaluation purposes.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Education and Experience**
- Field of study: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Networking, or equivalent
- Prior experience in software/hardware/networking support, required
- Previous work experience: 1
- 3 years.

**Languages**:

- English (C1, C2)
- Spanish (fluent)

**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, (required)
- Working knowledge of networking, including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, NAT, port forwarding, configuring switches, troubleshooting, etc... (required)
- Working knowledge of tools for network diagnostics, operating system performance monitoring, and tools for creating ISO images. (required)
- Working knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 / Win 10/11 / (required)
- Working knowledge of relational databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, (required)
- Working knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V, (required)
- Working knowledge of server/workstation hardware
- troubleshooting issues with hard drives, RAM, CPU, motherboards, etc, (required)
- Experience working with physical security technologies, such as Access control systems, VMS, Video Analytics, fire alarm systems, (preferred)
- Working knowledge of scripting languages (SQL, JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML5), (preferred)
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision, (required)
- Ability to work well in a team environment, (required)
- A high degree of professionalism, leadership aptitude, project management potential, and decision-making ability, (required)
- Great organizational and follow-up skills (required)
