The Opportunity This is a global role based in Bogotá, Colombia. The Senior Specialist, IT Business Analyst, will play a critical role in enabling Abbott Diabetes Care and other global IT initiatives, as may be required, by independently managing small to medium-sized projects from business intake through solution delivery. This role requires strong business analysis expertise combined with hands-on project management capabilities, ensuring business needs are effectively translated into scalable, high-quality IT solutions. The position operates with minimal supervision and partners closely with general business and IT stakeholders. What You’ll Do Business Analysis & Solution Enablement
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams for assigned initiatives.
- Lead business intake activities, including stakeholder interviews, workshops, and documentation of business needs.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and non-functional IT requirements, user stories, and solution designs.
