- Emergency Department (NMC) Pay Rate Type Hourly Pay Grade Health-28 Scheduled Weekly Hours 12 Work Shift Choose from 24 or 48 hours per 6 weeks Minimum Training and Education : Associate degree in nursing. Bachelor’s degree preferred.At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations : Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required , either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
