We are actively looking for a Senior Software Engineer with experience working with API Gateway, Auth Systems, Security & Google Cloud Platform, to join our team. Five9 delivers market‑leading up‑time for its Contact Center application while constantly delivering new features and capabilities to highly demanding enterprise customers. This position requires excellent understanding of cloud software: how it's built, deployed, tested and managed. Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the next generation of Five9’s modern SaaS platform, providing businesses the ability to improve customer service through the power of AI in the Contact Center.
- You will play a critical role in developing a highly available, highly scalable and reliable microservices with primary focus on API Gateway and API Developer Portal.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in API management to recommend improvements and optimizations.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure APIs are well‑documented and accessible to internal and external stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain the API Developer Portal to enhance the overall developer experience.
- Design, implement, and manage API Gateway solutions to facilitate seamless communication between various services.
- Configure and maintain API Gateway policies, security settings, and access controls.
