Job Summary Position: Partnership Intern (Internship) Duty Station: Yerevan, Armenia Under the guidance of the Communication Specialist and in coordination with the ADAP programme, the Partner Intern will design a partnership concept aimed at engaging diaspora Generation Z and Generation Alpha audiences in fundraising and advocacy for UNICEF. The Intern will also support initiatives that engage young people in Armenia to promote climate action and strengthen youth centre activities. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct background research on diaspora Generation Z and Generation Alpha engagement trends.
- Produce a short research brief with best practices, key insights and recommendations.
- Map potential partners (diaspora networks, youth‑led initiatives, organisations and foundations, digital platforms, influencers) and create a partner‑mapping matrix with contact information and engagement rationale.
- Support the development of a partnership concept, including outreach and engagement modalities targeting diaspora Generation Alpha and Generation Z audiences, and draft the partnership concept note.
- Assist target youth houses with the development of hospitality potential and create a simple hospitality‑development action plan.
- Support engagement of Armenian youth to support climate‑action initiatives and participatory activities; provide organisational support for LCOY Armenia 2026.
- Contribute to messaging and communication materials (monthly newsletter) tailored to young diaspora audiences; draft messages, newsletter, talking points and content ideas.
- Provide regular progress updates on assigned tasks and emerging opportunities; give periodic progress updates throughout the 6‑week internship. Qualifications
- High‑school diploma or current college student.
- Major: International relations, business administration, or a related field.
- Previous volunteer or internship experience, preferably in advocacy, human rights or community development.
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of diaspora engagement, including collaboration with diaspora networks, youth‑led initiatives or community organisations.
- Sound knowledge of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in Armenian.
- Proficient use of standard computer applications, including MS Office.
- Demonstrated research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize information into concise written outputs.
- Experience in coordinating or supporting youth, student or communication activities. Core Competencies
