Senior Software Developer (Nodejs) (Bolívar)

**About the Role**: About Curotec: Curotec, founded in 2010, is a technology services company based near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We specialize in developing enterprise level projects for clients all over the world.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Software Developer** to join our growing engineering team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design database schemas and optimize queries for SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and dev‑ops teams to define specs and deliver robust features.
- Write clean, testable code, with unit/integration tests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure high availability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning sessions.
- Containerize and deploy using Docker (Kubernetes experience a plus).
- Follow best practices in code reviews, version control (Git), and agile processes.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**: Hands-on experience with Node.js and its core modules (HTTP, File System, Events, etc.).

Familiarity with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.

Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.

Solid understanding of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or other databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).

Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
