Website Project Manager (Remote - Us Marketing Agency) …, Medellín

We’re looking for a **Website Project Manager** to own the execution, coordination, and delivery of website projects from kickoff through launch. This role is critical to keeping projects on track, teams aligned, and clients confident throughout the build process.

**Role Overview**

As a Website Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple website builds simultaneously, coordinating between internal teams (design, development, SEO, content) and clients to ensure projects are delivered **on time, on scope, and to standard**.

We operate with **documented SOPs in Asana**, but this is not a rigid checklist-only role. You’ll be expected to **think critically, adapt in real time, and solve problems on the fly** when projects don’t go exactly as planned.

You are not designing or developing websites, you are **owning the process**, anticipating issues, and keeping momentum.

**Key Responsibilities**

Website Project Management
- Own the end-to-end management of website projects from client kickoff to site launch.
- Manage timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables in **Asana**.
- Keep projects moving forward and prevent stalls, bottlenecks, or scope creep.
- Ensure builds align with defined requirements, brand standards, and SEO best practices.

Client Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for website-specific client communication.
- Lead kickoff calls, progress check-ins, and site launch coordination.
- Set and reinforce clear expectations with clients around timelines, responsibilities, and approvals.
- Proactively follow up on content, assets, approvals, and feedback.

Technical Coordination (Domains, DNS, Hosting)
- Coordinate **domain transfers, DNS updates, and launch-related technical changes**.
- Maintain a working understanding of **DNS records**.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and third-party providers to ensure smooth transitions and mínimal downtime.
- Ensure all websites are properly staged, launched, and managed on **WP Engine**, our primary hosting platform.

Internal Coordination
- Coordinate between design, development, SEO, and leadership teams.
- Translate client requests into clear, actionable tasks.
- Ensure internal teams have the information and assets they need to execute efficiently.
- Identify blockers early and resolve or escalate them appropriately.

Quality Control & Launch Readiness
- Review websites prior to launch for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Ensure content, layouts, forms, tracking, redirects, and integrations are correctly implemented.
- Confirm final approvals and coordinate go-live.
- Support post-launch cleanup and handoff.

Tools & Documentation
- Manage all tasks, timelines, and SOPs in Asana.
- Maintain clear project notes, status updates, and documentation.
- Use Loom or similar tools for walkthroughs and internal communication.
- Keep projects organized, transparent, and auditable.

Required Qualifications
- **2
- 4+ years of experience** in website project management
- Requires partial overlap with U.S. business hours(Eastern) for meetings and client communication. Exact working hours are versátil and can be discussed.
- Proven experience managing **multi-step website builds** in an agency or fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong verbal communication skills suitable for leading calls and meetings with U.S.based clients.
- Confident leading meetings and managing client expectations.
- Comfortable coordinating technical items such as **domains, DNS, hosting, and launches**.
- Experience working with **WordPress-based websites** (WP Engine experience strongly preferred).
- Comfortable using project management tools such as **Asana**

Preferred / Bonus Experience
- Experience with **WP Engine** hosting environments
- Experience with healthcare, dental, or regulated industries
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and website best practices
- Experience coordinating content collection and approvals
- Experience working with U.S.based clients
