Game Artist (Medellín)

SD Solutions is looking for a talented Game Artist.

Our Austin game studio is seeking a Core or Senior Artist with exceptional talent and a strong sense of character, environment development, and storytelling experience.

Company offers a hybrid work from the office: Monday-Wednesday. The office is located in Edificio Select, Cra. 29c, El Poblado, Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely and collaborate with Game Team and Art Manager to create appealing characters and environments, UI graphics, and marketing pop-ups.
- Iterate from concept phase to final polished assets, including storyboards for animations and vfx.
- Work quickly at times for unexpected deadlines, and must be a team player.
- Maintain asset libraries and texture atlases with a high level of proficiency and organization.
- Create supplementary graphic design work, including branding/logos, typography, and marketing materials.
- Create artwork to replace older features in an existing live game.
- Mentor others and give constructive feedback.
- Looking for exceptional illustration skills with a strong sense of design, including typography.

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience producing high-quality graphics for feature film, illustration, games, or marketing.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).

Advantages:
- UNITY engine experience.

Animated feature film styled concept art and strong storytelling.
- 3D software: 3D studio Max, Maya, Blender, etc.
