Software Development Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and implement distributed software tools and systems.
- Translate requirements into robust and scalable solutions.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Produce thorough and usable software documentation.
- Evaluate and integrate new or existing tools and platforms.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years coding experience in Node.js; NestJS, and Jest are a plus.
- Proficient in SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Experience with GitLab and AWS services (EKS, S3, RDS, DocumentDB, SQS, Kinesis).
- Exposure to frontend frameworks (Next.js, React, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with operational excellence foundations.
- Willingness to provide on-call support and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong curiosity and a passion to learn and take initiative.
