Job Overview Our client, a mental health practice, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant to support front desk and administrative operations. The adecuado candidate will have experience in healthcare administration, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with sensitive patient populations, including individuals in mental health and addiction care. This role heavily involves administrative tasks, patient coordination, insurance verification, and communication.

Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Patient Communication Answer inbound phone calls and respond to patient inquiries professionally Manage SMS/text communication with patients Respond to emails and maintain communication workflows Confirm upcoming appointments and handle rescheduling Scheduling & Coordination Schedule patient appointments accurately Coordinate calendars and manage provider availability Insurance & Eligibility Verify insurance eligibility using EOBs Determine co-pays, deductibles, and coverage details Work within RCM tools to check benefits Clinical & Administrative Support Administer pre-appointment assessments (e.g., PHQ-9) Ensure patient forms are completed prior to visits Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
