- and we're looking for a sharp, experienced Chief Accountant to join our growing team in Medellín (second brand). We develop modern digital financial products and offer a unique opportunity to gain international experience, and significantly improve your English skills, as it is the primary language of communication within the company. ???? This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Medellín office. A conversational level of English is required. What you'll be doing 1. Assess the current financial state and flag critical issues without delay; 2. Keep the business fully compliant with local tax, labour, and financial regulations; 3. Own relationships with regulatory authorities and manage audit processes end-to-end; 4. Build and maintain solid financial controls so accounting runs clean, every time; 5. Find smarter ways to cut costs and drive financial efficiency. 6. Close financial periods accurately
- zero claims from regulators is the standard What we're looking for
- 3+ years in accounting; background in financial services or microfinance is a big plus;
- Deep knowledge of Colombian tax, labour law, and financial reporting standards;
- Proven experience working with regulators and navigating audit processes;
- Strong analytical skills, leadership presence, and attention to detail;
- Conversational English or higher
