Bilingual Senior 3D Designer (Medellín)

What you will be doing: 3D Designer will contribute to positioning products and services in the market by developing graphical representations that help explain products and solutions in multimedia, web, video, presentations, interactive modules, and technical documentation. 3D animations will be the primary output of this role. The senior 3D Designer will work closely with engineers and product experts to build realistic scenes that can be understood easily by our target audience. Generate 3D optimized models and imagery that will support the communication and marketing needs of the company by leveraging CAD files from engineering, modeling parts as needed, and adding textures, materials, and lighting to generate an aesthetically pleasing result. Create and modify images, graphics, and illustrations as directed to support company branding and marketing goals. Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (3 or 4 year program) or equivalent experience in multimedia design, industrial design, 3D animation, or a related discipline in a marketing environment.
- 5+ years of professional experience executing 3D imagery and multimedia.
- 4+ years of professional experience executing projects in Cinema 4D + Redshift.
- 4+ years of professional experience performing retopology/optimized texturing for 3D asset use within interactive applications, such as Sketchfab.
- Good understanding of Creo, 3dsMax, Blender, Cinema4D, Maya, Substance 3D Painter, Unity Pro preferred.
- Experience importing and preparing CAD files (such as .STP) into Cinema 4D.
- Understanding of art fundamentals including color theory, composition, rhythm, and balance.
