As the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela continues, the risk of hyperinflation and mobility restrictions severely constrain access to basic goods and services. To date, around 8 million Venezuelans have left the country. IRC has responded to the crisis by working with local organizations supporting Venezuelans within Venezuela and across the larger diaspora, providing health, nutrition, WASH, economic recovery, protection, and education services.

Purpose of the Role

The Senior Program Coordinator (SPC) will provide leadership and day to day management of IRC’s programs implementation in Venezuela, under the supervision of the DDP for Colombia. The Sr. program Coordinator will be responsible for leading the programmatic quality and overseeing the smooth running of the IRC’s programs’ implementation in the field offices. S/he will serve as focal point for the coordinators from Health, Women Protection and Empowerment, Child Protection, Education and Economic Recovery and Development. The SPC will also represent the Venezuelan program when needed, ensuring a high level of visibility and acceptance of IRC programs.
