Position Summary The MTSS Literacy Interventionist provides targeted, data-driven literacy instruction and intervention to students identified through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). This role collaborates closely with the MTSS team and mentors to design, implement, and monitor reading and writing interventions that address individual student needs. The Literacy Interventionist supports student growth in literacy skills while promoting confidence, engagement, and academic success. Essential Duties (Top 5 Roles) 1) Deliver targeted language arts interventions aligned to MTSS tiers
- Provide small-group and individualized literacy intervention for students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports
- Implement evidence-based instructional strategies in reading and writing, including comprehension, fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and written expression
