Practicante Universitario Bilingüe (Colombia)

Position: Legal Intern Location: Colombia Department: Legal Reports to: Legal Assistant Duration: 6 months Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7am – 5pm, Friday 7am – 4pm (Schedule adapted to our headquarters in Cumming, GA) Salary: SMMLV + Connectivity allowance Job Summary: This internship will provide support to the legal team in document management, drafting and reviewing legal documents, tracking intellectual property procedures, and providing administrative support. This internship represents an adecuado training opportunity for students interested in corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law who wish to apply their knowledge in a business environment. Responsibilities: Assist in drafting and reviewing internal policies related to the company's legal processes. Maintain up-to-date legal files and contractual control matrices. Support the management and monitoring of intellectual property assets (trademarks, trade names, designs). Track trademark registration applications in Colombia and the U.S., organizing documentation and updating databases. Assist in drafting minutes, records, contracts, and other legal documents under supervision. Perform basic reviews of contractual clauses and prepare summaries or executive reports. Support the control and monitoring of documents/agreements pending signature. Remind the area manager about matters in progress or awaiting a response from external legal advisors. Assist in legal procedures before regulatory entities. Support other assigned tasks within the legal area, according to your level of training. Requirements: Law student in their final semesters. Intermediate-advanced level of English or bilingual (excellent writing skills in Spanish and English). Interest in corporate, commercial, and intellectual property law. Strong legal writing and analysis skills. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Proactive, responsible, and confidential. Ability to track tasks and meet deadlines.
