.NET Core Engineer (Soacha)

Our 4,000+ remote team comprises top tech talent, driving impact worldwide. This position is a 100% remote role. Location: Bogota, D.C., Capital District, Colombia. Responsibilities
- Architect and develop various services and APIs for the Degreed product.
- Write code independently following standard coding best practices.
- Provide architectural recommendations and guidance based on requirements.
- Make design recommendations to improve user experience.
- Analyze, clarify and estimate JIRA tickets that contain task/feature requirements.
- Collaborate with QA to close out bugs and apply lessons learned.

What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience as a developer.
- 3+ years of experience programming in .NET Core and a modern frontend language.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with microservices and the cloud.
- Advanced algorithm knowledge.
- IT infrastructure knowledge.
- Intermediate agile methodologies management.
- Strong understanding of best practices, SOLID principles, CLEAN Code, and scalable solutions.
- Design Patterns knowledge.
- Experience developing entire applications from scratch.
- Experience in automated tests, CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong experience with version control.
- Strong experience with unit testing, integration testing, and code coverage.
- Advanced English level.
