Location Barranquilla, Bogota, or Medellin – On‑site Role Description As a Senior Account Manager, you will coordinate internal operations teams and external customers to facilitate the movement and completion of individual shipments. You are accountable for the performance of all assigned shipments and managing communication between operations, shippers, consignees, and customers. This role combines focused operational oversight and outstanding communication to deliver excellent customer service. - Manage individual loads to meet customer account plan metrics, including margin management, on‑time pickup/delivery, and service level agreements.
- Initiate all necessary customer, shipper, and consignee conversations to deliver superior customer service and conduct strategic arbitrage on every load.
- Act as the first point of escalation for issues and use strong problem‑solving skills to resolve client concerns.
- Ownership of shipments through the life cycle of the load.
- Accept tenders, build, and post loads.
- Set max buy rates and approve carrier sales offers.
- Ensure customers have TMS tracking links, proactive updates, and all paperwork on every shipment.
- Properly hand off shipments that are ready for billing to the accounting team.
Key Performance Indicators
- Manage 15+ loads per day successfully.
