Agentic Java Engineer - Remote - Colombia (Soledad)

The Position We're looking to hire an Agentic Java Engineer to join our team. You'll work with one of our incredible product teams to build and deliver a product to our clients. What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional software development experience. Advanced English is required. Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required. Meaningful experience working with Java and the Spring Boot framework. Experience designing and implementing RESTful web services using Spring MVC or similar technologies. Experience working with PostgreSQL or traditional SQL databases. Experience using AI engineering tools such as OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, or similar systems to accelerate software development. Ability to prompt, guide, and review AI-generated code, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability. Hands-on experience with AI-assisted or agentic development workflows, orchestrating, validating, and integrating model-produced code into larger systems. Experience implementing code agents to automate or facilitate software engineering tasks. Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed. Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications. Forensic attention to detail. A positive mindset and a can-do attitude. Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams. Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems. Ability to take extreme ownership over your work.
