Senior React/Node Engineer

Plan A Technologies is looking for a skilled Senior Fullstack React/Node Engineer to help evolve a large-scale digital platform. This role focuses on delivering and modernizing user-facing applications within a micro‑frontend ecosystem, while enabling future growth, improved onboarding, and greater flexibility across the platform.

You will contribute to both new feature development and modernization initiatives, working alongside product, design, backend, and platform teams in a highly collaborative environment.

Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience as a React and Node Full‑stack Engineer to be considered for this role.

Job Responsibility
- Design, build, and maintain frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Work within a micro‑frontend architecture to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions
- Implement and manage application state using Redux, React Query, or similar tools
- Partner with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality releases
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions

Experience
- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 6+ years of professional experience in frontend development
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with React in production environments
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Node in production environments
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience working with state management libraries (Redux, React Query, etc.)
- Familiarity with micro‑frontend patterns and distributed frontend systems
- Experience with feature flagging or experimentation tools such as Statsig, LaunchDarkly, or Optimizely
- Background in standardizing or scaling CSS systems across multiple applications
- Experience working in AWS‑based environments or alongside cloud infrastructure teams
- Familiarity with large‑scale migrations, including monolith decomposition
