Profile Required We are looking for a Customer Care Coordinator to join our laboratory operations team in Cota, Colombia. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in laboratory environments, sample traceability, and technical customer service, who can effectively coordinate communication between clients, laboratory analysts, and internal operational teams. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring service quality, turnaround time compliance, and efficient management of customer requests and laboratory workflows. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate day-to-day Customer Care activities related to laboratory reception of samples, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients. Monitor sample traceability throughout the testing process, ensuring compliance with turnaround times, quality standards, and internal procedures. Manage customer requests, complaints, and non-conformities through multiple communication channels including Customer´s portal, email, phone calls, and Whats App. Act as the main liaison between clients, laboratory analysts, and operational teams to ensure effective resolution of technical and service-related issues. Support operational planning during high-volume periods by prioritizing requests, tracking pending cases, and ensuring service continuity. Maintain updated records, reports, and follow-up documentation using Excel, internal systems, and laboratory management platforms. Lead and coordinate a team of 4 Customer Care team members, ensuring proper workload distribution, compliance with laboratory guidelines, and alignment with daily operational priorities. Collaborate closely with the commercial team by supporting pre-sales activities, providing technical guidance on laboratory services, sample requirements, turnaround times, and client feasibility assessments. Requirements & Qualifications Education Technical degree or Technologist in: Laboratory Sciences Chemical Analysis Industrial Laboratory Quality Control Related technical programs Experience 2–4 years in: Testing laboratories Physicochemical analysis environments Technical customer service Laboratory operations support Technical Knowledge Sample traceability Non-conformance handling Customer complaint management Laboratory workflow coordination ISO 17025 / ISO 9001 knowledge Microsoft Excel and Office tools Soft Skills Structured communication High attention to detail Organization and prioritization Teamwork Ability to work under pressure Differentiating Value Technical profile capable of translating customer needs into laboratory operational requirements Ability to prioritize and manage end-to-end sample tracking.
