Graphic Design Technician / Embroidery Digitizer (La Vega)

**Position**: **_ MUST PROVIDE PORTFOLIO TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE_**: ***Responsibilities**:

- Digitize logos from supplied artwork
- Edit existing designs/logos for improvement in speed & quality
- Provide stitch count estimates to coloring/production team
- Work with embroidery operators and artist to gather insight to resolve design issues
- Test digitizing designs on the embroidery machine for quality and efficiency
- Develop strong working knowledge of embroidery on different fabrics
- Maintain archives for all embroidery files created and edited
- Assist embroidery production in other projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- BS or AS in Graphic Design or Graphic Arts
- Knowledge of têxtiles, threads, and embroidery machines
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suites
